Are you prepared if your school has a "lock down"? All schools handle this differently but essentially if there is a lock down in our school the children are kept in what ever room they are currently in, under desks etc. Is that classroom equipped to handle a child with diabetes? Here is our diabetes tidbit on what we are doing to make sure that we are prepared for a lock down.
